What is DIAGNOdent®?

DIAGNOdent® is laser detection of unseen tooth decay. It is probably the premier dental tool to use for locating tooth decay in any of its various stages because of the increased accuracy.

How Does DIAGNOdent® Work?

DIAGNOdent®works by registering a baseline reading on the patients normal tooth surface. As the dentist inspects other tooth surfaces, it detects any deviation from the normal healty tooth surface.

How would DIAGNOdent® benefit me?

With DIAGNOdent®, the dentist is able to make better treatment decisions earlier, whether that calls for further watching of suspect areas to monitor changes, preventive measures or minimally invasive preparation. The dentist is able to detect with the new KaVo DIAGNOdent® what would otherwise be invisible.
