Jaw Pain

Check out the link below that presents a nice review of jaw pain, with an emphasis on TMJ problems. One cause of jaw pain not mentioned in the article is obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). During an OSA event, a person unconsciously attempts to move the jaw forward so that the airway can open. This can result in grinding and tooth attrition, which leads to a number of significant dental problems.
