Annie Knudson, DDS             annie

Dr. Annie Knudson was born and raised in Yakima, WA.  She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Pre-Professional Degree and a National Championship in Women’s Soccer.  Dr. Knudson returned to her home state and earned her DDS degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Dr. Knudson strives to do dentistry with excellence, compassion and integrity – this is her true passion.  She is particularly interested in restorative and cosmetic dentistry with a keen eye for ceramics.  Dr. Knudson believes dentistry should be well balanced between patient care and artistry.  Dr. Knudson plans to expand her cosmetic services to include Botox and clear aligner therapy in 2012.  She is a member of the Washington State Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Knudson was married in July 2011.  Her husband, Jeff, is also a dentist and practices in Seattle.  In her free time, Dr. Knudson enjoys running, playing co-rec soccer, and exploring her new love for golf. Fore!

Karen Lovato, DDS

Dr. Karen Lovato was born and raised indescribe the image Albuquerque, NM.  Upon receipt of a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, she attended Creighton University School of Dentistry.  After graduation from dental school in 2006, Dr. Lovato returned to New Mexico and worked in a public health clinic in a small town in the southern part of the state called Truth or Consequences, NM, where there were only three other dentists in town.

After 3 years of working in the public health clinic, Dr. Lovato rekindled the fondness for root canals that she had harbored in dental school.  She applied and was accepted into Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, for the two-year Endodontic residency program.

Following completion of the residency program in June 2011, Dr. Lovato moved to Seattle, a place that had called to her heart since the era of grunge.  Dr. Lovato strives to provide excellence in patient care, hoping to provide an aspect of compassion into a procedure that does not evoke the most positive social response.  With a kind hand and a touch of humor, she allays the misnomer of the “dreaded root canal.”

Dr. Lovato is currently a member of the American Association of Endodontists, and the American Dental Association.

In her free time, Dr. Lovato enjoys hiking, music, and will someday learn to play the guitar she owns.
