While you might have heard in the news recently that dentists are now opting to send crown and porcelain work to foreign countries for fabrication in order to keep costs down, please know that all restorations we place are manufactured no more than 100 feet from your dental chair. It is true that our office is extremely adept in making crowns in-house with the use of computer aided design, milling, and advanced porcelain baking techniques. However, when outside help is needed, we have the good fortune to work with Mike Dominguez, owner of Kymata Dental Arts, whose office is immediately next to our office. Our ability to communicate your exact clinical needs is second to none, for we often speak face-to-face with our master technician, Mike, about a particular case several times before your dental crown or porcelain is placed in your mouth.

It is true. The services provided by Kymata Dental Arts are top notch, and are more expensive than foreign labs and large domestic labs. In conjunction with our office, Kymata produces one of the best pieces of dental construction that can be made. Our office will always be dedicated to this high standard. While we could certainly reduce our operating costs significantly by exporting the fabrication elsewhere, we refuse to sacrifice quality, longevity, and control for lower costs to the office. We just won’t go there.
